Representing Canada, Anna Smith, DUFC fencer and coach, has finished third in the Women’s Foil FIE Satellite in Copenhagen. Ranked fifth following the poules, Anna lost out to the eventual winner – France’s Lusie Blaison – but not before beating the number 4 seed, Enright from Finland, by a comfortably margin, 15-9. Anna’s result will earn her 2 points in the world rankings which should leave her with a ranking in or around the top 220 in the world!
